Successful completion of this 8.5-hour class qualifies you to apply to your home NC county to obtain the North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Permit.
You will pass the “NC Department of Justice Concealed Carry – Handgun Training Test” and demonstrate handgun safe handling and proficiency at the range. This includes a scored B-8 target shot from 5, 7 and 10-yard distances.

- Options for carrying.
- Maintenance.
Pay now to reserve your seat: $75, includes range fee.
- Firearms are not allowed in the classroom for CHP. On the range, they are to be unloaded with the slide locked open. Follow range safety officer’s directions for shooting.
- Mags can be pre-loaded for the qualification.
- Range wear guidelines for your protection: a billed cap, closed toes shoes, eye and ear protection, a snug collar and long pants.
- What to bring
- Your pistol, 50 rounds of ammunition and extra magazines.
- Snacks and a beverage (or lunch). Something to take notes on.
- $15 cash if you need ammo ( 50 rounds 9mm). Contact me if you need to rent a pistol.

Rescheduling:
- 3 days’ notice is required, and we will hold your seat for another class. You may reschedule twice before forfeiting the class fee. We encourage you to fill your seat with a substitute if you find you can no longer attend this class.
